THE COMMANDER, ARTRAC VISITS OCDC, BUTTALA

Major General SS Waduge RWP RSP USP ndu psc, the Commander, ARTRAC paid his maiden visit to the Officer Career Development Centre on 09th February 2021.

The Commander, ARTRAC was accorded a drive-past on arrival at the main entrance and was warmly welcomed by the Acting Commandant, Brigadier GMN Perera RWP RSP USP. Commencing the programme, a conference chaired by the Commander, ARTRAC was held with the main appointment holders at the HQ Conference Hall. Subsequently, he inspected the syndicate rooms and administrative areas. Afterwards, marking his visit to the premises, the Commander, ARTRAC planted a Sandal Wood sapling in the camp premises.

Later, the Commander, ARTRAC addressed and stressed the importance of training in different professional aspects emphasising mostly on the importance of training of officers. Then, a group photograph was taken in front of the Main Auditorium. After lunch, at Commandant$s Chalet, the day$s event culminated with the signing of the Visitor$s Book.
