ARMY WAR COLLEGE DRAWN THE FIRST HASH RUN OF 2024 TO THE END

The first Hash Run of 2024 in the event calendar of Army War College was successfully held on 10 March 2024. The event aimed to enhance the camaraderie and athleticism of Student Officers of THE Senior Command Course 10, Junior Command Course 29 and Junior Staff Course 25.

Hash Run included around 10 Km run along the village bound track amidst the scenic environment of Buttala and the energetic participants were provided with refreshments as well.

The event commenced with the sign of lowering the checkered flag by Major General Dinesh Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, the Commandant Army War College who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and also participated in the run together with Deputy Commandant, Chief Instructor, all faculty members and the permanent staff.

After the completion of the run, all the Officers had an enjoyable interactive session to release the stress by breaking the monotony from the feverish nature at AWC where the Student Offices showcased fun-making activities bringing joy for the gathering.
