ARMY WAR COLLEGE BEGINS THE THIRD TRIMESTER

The Army War College commenced the third training cycle of the year 2022 on 29 August 2022. The College warmly welcomed 118 enthusiastic student officers through a charming opening ceremony. 85 officers including one foreign student officer from Bangladesh Army will follow the Junior Command Course 25 and 33 officers selected as potential battalion commanders will follow the Senior Command Course.

While delivering the Opening Address, Brigadier YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commandant of the Army War College highlighted the significance and the necessity of undergoing these career courses for the professional development and career progression of senior and middle grade officers in the Army. He stressed upon the need to do justice the resources spent by the Army and the country to run these courses even during current financial situation.

Both the courses will run for 14 weeks and will terminate on 3 December 2022.
