ARMY WAR COLLEGE BEGINS THE SECOND TRIMESTER

The Army War College (AWC) began the second trimester with the commencement of Senior Command Course 8, Junior Command Course 27 and Junior Staff Course 24 on 04 May 2023.

Brigadier Manada Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commandant of AWC delivered the Opening Address and marked the commencement of the second trimester of the AWC academic programme.

The Commandant encouraged all student officers to effectively follow the particular courses that are essential for enhancing the military professionalism and further emphasized on the significance of maintaining discipline and integrity during the courses. The Senior Command Course comprised 8 student officers whilst other two courses of Junior Command and Junior Staff comprised 27 and 24 students respectively. Deputy Commandant, Chief Instructor, Senior Instructors, all faculty members and permanent staff attended the event.
