The first Enrichment Programme for the Directing Staff of the Army School of Logistics (ASL) was held on 21 March 2024 with the participation of the Commandant, Brigadier RT Lokuthotahewa USP Lsc, Chief Instructor, Senior Instructors Directing Staff and Permanent Staff, at the “Wisdom Hall” of the ASL.

The Student Officers of Junior Officers’ Logistics Course No 20 and Directing Staff led by Lt Col NIP Gamage RSP USP psc Senior Instructor Training Team II, the Senior Instructor Training Team 2 visited Naval and Maritime Academy, Trincomalee on 20 March 2023.

As a part of the academic curriculam of the course JOLC No 20 got the opportunity to witness the functions of the logistics battalions at Log Comd (E) on 12 and 13 March 2024. During the visit, the course participants visited 3 ESR, 4 SLASC, 3 SLAOC, 3 SLEME, 2 SLCMP and Army Base Hospital Minneriya.

Junior Officers Logistics Course (JOLC) No 20 is conducted for the Junior Officers from various Arms and Services. Accordingly, the “Ex-Steering Wheel” was conducted from 21 February to 25 February 2024 followed by a Red Ink Correction (RIC) on 28 February 2024.
