The 29th Leadership Development Certificate (LDC) Course for NCOs in the rank of Lance Corporal was commenced on 02nd November 2023. The Commandant School of Signals Colonel MAK Jayawardena psc delivered the opening address and explained the nature and the motive of the course.
Sixty nine NCOs from Signal Units are following the 29th LDC Course which consists of duties and responsibilities for the rank of Corporals, Basic Regimental Accounts, Military Law, Map Reading, Basic Battle Drills, Weapon Training, Internal Security Duties among other military subjects and additional knowledge regarding Regimental Accounts to develop their skills.
The duration of the course is 26 working days and it will be terminated on 04th December 2023 as per the training schedule.
