School of Signals marked its 31st anniversary on 12 October with series of programmes including Alms-giving, philanthropic activities and Military formalities.
The programme started with an alms-giving to Maha Sanga led by the chief incumbent of Bhodhirajarama temple, Boowelikada at the School of Signals premises on 09th Sunday.
Subsequently, On 10th the Staff of the School participated in providing lunch to children at Nawodhaya School for children with special needs.
Adhering to military customs, military formalities commenced with a Guard Turnout, followed by a grand military parade where the troops present arms to the Commandant School of Signals. Thereafter, during the all ranks lunch Commandant School of Signals addressed the troops and appreciated their performances during last year.
