11 Infantry Division celebrated its 15th Anniversary amidst religious and military formalities under the guidance of Major General K A U Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding, 11 Infantry Division on14 February 2025.
In accordance with the military traditions, the General Officer Commanding, 11 Infantry Division was warmly welcomed, and accorded with a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour by the troops of 5th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry and followed by the troops address.
The General Officer Commanding inaugurated the newly deployed 130 mm artillery gun in front of the office complex adding significant value to the 15th Anniversary. Finally he joined with the troops for All Ranks lunch, symbolizing the close bond within the 11 Infantry Division and fostering a sense of camaraderie among Officers, Other Ranks and civil staff.
