The Security Force Headquarters (Central) organized a programme to bring Comfort and happiness to the elderly at the Elderly at the Sanasuma Elders’ Home in Bandarawela

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters (Central), Major General K A W N H Bandaranayake USP, a welfare programme was conducted at the Sanasuma Elders’ Home, Amundowa – Bandarawela. The programme included cleaning and maintenance of the elders’ home and its surrounding areas, followed by the provision of refreshments for 32 resident elders. Subsequently, essential items were distributed to the elders. In addition, a melodious musical entertainment programme was organized in the evening to uplift their morale and provide mental and emotional comfort.

The event was graced by the presence of the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters (Central), along with senior officers, officers, and other ranks serving at the Security Forces Headquarters (Central), who actively participated in the programme.
