The Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony at Swarnamali Girls College, Kandy was held on 25 June 2024 and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Infantry Division, Major General R.M.M Ranasinghe WWV RWP RSP, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Upon arrival, the Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by the students and staff of the school. In his address to the gathering, he emphasized the importance of leadership. Following his speech, the Chief Guest pinned prefect badges on the newly appointed school prefects. Several members of the Maha Sangha and school staff also attended the event.
