122 Infantry Brigade Headquarters at Weerawila hosted a formal felicitation ceremony to newly promoted Commander 122 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier BDTD Jayarathne psc, on 15 August 2025 with participation of 12th battalion of Gajaba Regiment and 3rd battalion of Sri Lanka National Guard troops
The Newly promoted Senior officer was warmly welcomed at the main enternce and followed by a Guard Turnout in accordance with military traditions.
The Senior Officer left his memories by posing for group photographs with the Staff Officers and Senior Non Commissioned Officers of 122 Infantry Brigade Headquarters. Following the commemorative moment, he addressed the troops and the ceremony was concluded with all-rank tea.
