Under the guidance of Major General K.A.U Kodituwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding of 11 Infantry Division, the troops of the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) built a new house for a low-income family in Akurana, Kandy.
This housing project received full financial contributions from Venerable Sarada Thero, Chief Incumbent of Konakalagala Sri Vijitha Maha Viharaya and Sri Sadhananda Maha Pirivena and local donors.
The house was officially vested in the beneficiary on 11 November 2024 by Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces (Central).
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and residents in the area were among participants in the warming ceremony.
