12TH BATTALION THE GAJABA REGIMENT CONDUCTS SCHOOL EQUIPMENT DONATION PROGRAMME

Under the guidance of Maj SA Kamal Gunarathna USP psc, Commanding Officer of the 12 Battalion The Gajaba Regiment, the troops of Battalion conducted an inspiring educational gift pack donation programme on 04 January 2025 at Hambantota Kirindagama Primary School. The event was brought to life thought invaluable support of prof. Nimal Rajapaksha, senior deputy vice chancellor of (SLIIT), Mr. Niraj Muthukuda Chief Financial Officer of (SLIIT), Major General (Retd) ALDN Gunasekara Director of infrastructure development project of (SLLIT), Dr. Danushi Gunasekara Senior Lecturer of (KDU)

Total of 50 students received essential educational resources through this initiative, which aimed to enhance their academic experience and provide better opportunities for their future.
