The 12th Anniversary of the 121 Infantry Brigade was celebrated in a grand and dignified manner on 9 January 2026 at the Brigade Headquarters, Kumbukkana, under the supervision of the Brigade Commander, Colonel B. K. Thrimanna Vithanage RWP RSP.
During the event, a ceremonial Guard Turnout was presented in honour of the Brigade Commander. To commemorate the anniversary, a mango sapling was planted, following which the Commander addressed the troops.
Furthermore, an All Ranks Lunch was organized, and in the evening, a Bodhi Pooja ceremony was conducted to invoke blessings upon all Army personnel serving under the Brigade.
