In celebration of the 76th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, the 11 Infantry Division organized a meritorious community outreach programme at the “Sarana Sevana” Children’s Home in Polgolla on 10 October 2025.
As part of the programme, a special lunch was offered to 18 resident children and 2 staff members of the home. In addition, sports equipment was donated to the children with the objective of encouraging physical fitness and promoting their overall well being.
Major General T C M G S T Cooray RWP RSP USP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding, 11 Infantry Division also graced the occasion. The event symbolized the Army’s enduring commitment to social responsibility and community welfare in conjunction with its 76th Anniversary celebrations.
