OFFICIAL VISIT OF THE COMMANDER, MECHANIZED INFANTRY BRIGADE TO 4 MECHANIZED INFANTRY REGIMENT

The Commander, Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Brigadier PI Punchihewa marked his first official visit to 4 Mechanized Infantry Regiment on 29 August 2025. With military formalities, he was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer and All Officers.

The Commanding officer Conducted the Briefing followed by Brigade Commander addressed the Officers’ and ORs of the 4 Mechanized Infantry Regiment and emphasized the significance of a Mechanized Infantry soldier and how he should develop his skills and thoughts as a professional soldier in the contemporary environment.

Mechanized Infantry Brigade Commander inquired about both operational and administrative matters relevant to the battalion throughout the visit.
