FELICITATION CEREMONY IS ACCORDED TO THE MAJ GEN W M S C K WANASINGHE RSP USP

Felicitation Ceremony accorded to the Maj Gen W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP, Director General Welfare, Army Headquarters was held at the Regimental Centre Mechanized Infantry, Dambuluhalmillawewa on 11 November 2023 with the participation of Council Members, Senior Officers, Commanding Officers and Officers of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment.

All ranks of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment warmly received the Snr Offr upon his arrival. The military formalities commenced soon after the guard turnout at the entrance.

Subsequently, paid his tribute to the fallen war heroes at the war heroes monument followed by the ceremonial parade, planting of a sapling, group photo and all ranks tea.

All ranks of the regiment conveyed their best wishes for future prospects to the Senior Officer and his family.
