4 MIR BUILDS NEW HOUSE FOR SENIOR NON COMMISSIONED OFFICER

The house construction project conceptualized by the Major General WMSCK Wanasinghe RSP USP, Colonel of the Regiment and the General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, the newly constructed house for serving Senior Non-Commissioned Officer was officially handedover on 03rd February 2025 in Hanwella area.

The house construction project reflects the Regiment's commitment to supporting its personnel. The project was completed with the guidance of the Centre Commandant Brigadier A K Peiris RSP, with the close supervision of the Commanding Officer 4 MIR and along with the skilled work support of troops of 4 MIR.

During the ceremony, the Colonel of the Regiment officially handed over the key to the beneficiary amidst religious observances. This project was made possible through the financial contributions of Regimental Centre, 4 Mechanized Infantry Regiment and generous sponsorship of local donors.

Moreover, during the ceremony beneficiary was gifted with electric and essential item sponsored by Mechanized Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch and 4 Mechanized Infantry Regiment.

President Mrs. Nilanthi Wanasinghe and Secretary Mrs. Bimali Peiris Mechanized Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch also participated in this ceremony.
