Maj S P R S Palliyaguru RSP psc IG SLA, assumed duties as the 15th Commanding Officer of 10th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery on 18 September 2024, at Palaly, Jaffna.
The ceremony began with a formal inspection of the Guard turnout. Following a brief religious observance, the newly appointed Commanding Officer officially assumed Command by signing a formal document, marking the transfer of the leadership. The day’s proceedings also included the planting of mango sapling, an address to the troops, all - rank tea party and tour of the camp premises.
