THE SRI LANKA ARMY INTER REGIMENT BODYBUILDING, WEIGHT LIFTING, AND POWER LIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2024
The Sri Lanka Army Inter Regiment Bodybuilding, Weightlifting, and Powerlifting Championship 2024 took place on October 22, 2024, at the SLAGSC Weightlifting Stadium in Panagoda. The event featured participation from over 15 regiments of the Sri Lanka Army.
In a notable performance, the Sri Lanka Artillery team achieved significant success. They secured first place and won two gold medals in the 81 kg and 109 kg weight categories. Additionally, the team earned three silver medals in the 61 kg, 73 kg, and 109+ kg categories, and one bronze medal in the 96 kg category.
Their exceptional results led the Sri Lanka Artillery team to finish as the first runners-up in the overall competition.
