The Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery celebrated the Vesak Festival 2024 symbolizing religious harmony under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery on Vesak Poya Day (23 May 2024). Coincide with the Vesak festival, the troops of the Gunner Family organized a Jack and Chickpea Dansala near the Habarakada Gate, Panagoda.
The Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG along with the President of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Swendrini Rodrigo, Chief of Staff of OCDS Maj Gen K V N P Premaratne RSP USP psc, Senior Officers, their spouses, Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery participated in this charity.
