NEWLY APPOINTED DIRECTING STAFF FORMALLY INDUCTED AT THE ARMY WAR COLLEGE

In a brief formality held at the Sri Lanka Army War College in Buttala, a group of officers were formally invested with the esteemed Army War College badges by Major General DKRN Silva RSP USP psc, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army War College, recognizing them as Directing Staff (DS).

Becoming a member of the Directing Staff (DS) at the Army War College, Buttala is a prestigious honour and a significant milestone in a military officer's career. The badge symbolises professional excellence and formalises their association with the Army's premier institute for higher military education, reflecting their recognised competence in military leadership and strategic studies.
