NEWLY APPOINTED DIRECTING STAFF JOIN ARMY WAR COLLEGE

In a brief formality held at the Sri Lanka Army War College in Buttala, a group of officers were formally invested with the esteemed Army War College badges by Major General P S Subath Sanjeewa RSP nps psc, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army War College. The Army War College badges are a distinguished emblem, representing the officers’ affiliation with the premier institution and their expertise in military strategy and leadership.

Becoming a member of the Directing Staff (DS) at the Army War College, Buttala is a prestigious honour and a significant milestone in a military officer's career whose names are mentioned below formally met with the Commandant. During the event, they were officially recognised as Faculty members, solidifying their roles in shaping the next generation of military leaders followed by presenting the Standing Instructions for Permanent Staff (SIP) that cover key aspects of their roles and responsibilities.
