THE NEW DEPUTY COMMANDANT ARMY WAR COLLEGE ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier KMUP Kalupahana USP psc assumed duties as the Deputy Commandant of the Army War College, Buttala on 26 December 2025 during a brief ceremony.

The new Deputy Commandant was warmly received by the Staff Officer 1 (Admin) with other Senior Officers on his arrival to the Army War College.

Subsequently, the formalities of assuming duties with the signing of documents at auspicious time marked the acceptance of his new office amidst religious observances.

The brief ceremony culminated with all ranks welcome refreshment arranged at the Headquarters, Army War College.
