NEW CHIEF INSTRUCTOR TAKES OVER DUTIES

Col DPASA Witharana psc SLAC assumed duties as the Chief Instructor of Army War College on 01 August 2025 as the fourth Chief Instructor after the elevation of Officer Career Development Centre to Army War College.

After symbolically taking up the appointment with the compliments from the Wing Heads of the Defence Studies Branch together with the Faculty Staff and the Permanent Staff, the new Chief Instructor placed his signature on an official document symbolizing the formal acceptance of the office. Prior to the new appointment, he was the Senior Instructor (SCC) of the AWC.
