Major Dinusha Jayasekara psc Isc, currently serving at the Army War College as DS, accomplished an excellent achievement by winning the Best Research Paper Award in the National Security category during Technical Session V at the 18th International Research Conference conducted by General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.
The conference provided a platform for scholars and defence professionals to share insights and expertise on pressing global security issues. Major Dinusha Jayasekara's winning paper on 'Escalation of Terrorism, Emerging Scenarios and their Implications on Regional Stability' showcased exceptional research acumen, innovative thinking, and a deep understanding of national security challenges.
While appreciating the excellent achievement, the Commandant of the Army War College, Major General Subath Sanjeewa RSP nps psc congratulated Major Dinusha Jayasekara on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to his continued contributions to defence and strategic studies.
He serves in the Directing Staff of Junior Command Wing of the Army War College and is an alumni of both Defence Services Command and Staff College of Sri Lanka and Defence Services Command and Staff College, Mirpur, Bangladesh.
