COMMANDANT ARMY WAR COLLEGE HOSTS A MEET AND GREET FOR DEFENCE ATTACHÉS

A team of Defence Attachés accredited to Sri Lanka were welcomed by Major General PS Subath Sanjeewa RSP nps psc, the Commandant Army War College Buttala and hosted a meet and greet session for the distinguished guests whilst on their way back to Colombo after visiting south eastern areas of Sri Lanka on 21 October 2025.

During an interactive session, the Defence Attachés admired the gesture of warmth welcome made by the Sri Lanka Army War College and the hospitality displayed by way of offering refreshments during their extensive itinerary within relatively shriveled neighborhood.

Defence Attachés associated with their family members who participated in the meet and greet session represented the friendly foreign nations of Bangladesh, France, India, Mexico, Nigeria, Switzerland, USA, and Zambia.

The visiting delegation shared their insights on the training conducted at the AWC Buttala Sri Lanka and extended the precious thanking regards to the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Commandant Army War College together with the staff and the student body and appreciated the notion of warmth welcome during the visit at a short notice.
