Army War College Marked the First Working Day

Army War College marked the first working day on 02 August during a formal ceremony giving priority to flag hoisting, reciting of the National Anthem and the Army song.

The day’s formalities were headed by Brigadier U.K.D.D.P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, the Commandant of the Army War College.

Hoisting of the National Flag was carried out by the Commandant and the AWC flag was hoisted by the Deputy Commandant. The ceremonial function was followed the reciting of the National Anthem and the Army Song.

The day’s programme was then converted into usual Wednesday training day and all officers and other ranks subsequently attended the same.
