ARMY WAR COLLEGE ENROLLS STUDENT OFFICERS FOR THE THIRD TRIMESTER

The Army War College commenced a set of courses in the third trimester for year 2024 with a short, yet a notable opening session on 01 September 2024. Under three separate courses, namely Senior Command Course 12 (SCC), Junior Command Course 31 (JCC) and Junior Staff Course 27 (JSC), altogether 122 Student Officers comprising 01 Student Officer from Bangladesh, enrolled to follow the respective training Courses

The SCC comprises of 36 Student Officers and the JCC is composed with 67 Student Officers including the foreign Student Officer. JSC comprises of 20 Officers

While delivering the opening address, Major General HHKSS Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the Commandant, Army War College elaborated the importance and the validity of undergoing such courses for the career progression of junior, middle grade and senior Army Officers. He also noted that the Student Officer representing the Bangladeshi Army would enrich the learning environment and share experiences among his counterparts from different regiments of the Sri Lanka Army

Deputy Commandant, Chief instructor, Senior Instructors, members of the Faculty and the permanent staff also attended the opening ceremony held at the Main Auditorium
