ARMY WAR COLLEGE BIDS FAREWELL TO COMMANDANT

Major General YAMB Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commandant of the Army War College relinquished his duties on 05 June 2023. He took the office as the 3rd Commandant of Army War College on 18th July 2022.

The outgoing Commandant was customarily accorded with a Guard Turnout in honour and appreciation of his distinguished service rendered to the Army War College. Prior to relinquishment of duties, he addressed the troops where he appreciated the commitment and dedication exhibited by the faculty staff and the administrative body of the Army War College in order to maintain its smooth functioning as a premier military training establishment and specially to conduct its first-ever Symposium after the inauguration of Army War College followed by its first anniversary celebration in a grand scale. He joined with all ranks tea to have interaction prior to his departure.

Finally, in a Street Line formed from Commandant’s Chalet to the main entrance and all ranks congratulated him to perform his duties as the General Officer Commanding of 52 Division with the blessings of the Noble Triple Gems.
