HISTORY

The supply necessities of Kilinochchi area had been covered through supply squadron – Kilinochchi by 3 SLASC and it renamed as 620 composite squadron under 6 SLASC in 2010 with the stabilization of security in Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi areas.

The opening out of the supply and transport requirement in SFHQ (KLN) AOR, 7th regiment of Sri Lanka Army Service Corp was formed in 28 April 2011 under SFHQ (KLN) comprising with the main Supply Squadron, General Transport Squadron, two Composite Squadron and one Composite Platoon.

VISION

Our vision to be an efficient and effective institution in the Sri Lanka Army by satisfying the supply and transportation needs of troops in HQ 1 Corps and affiliated Bns, 57 Inf Div, 65 Inf Div and 66 Inf Div and their UC tps as directed by Dte of S&T.

MISSION

Our objective is to provide a friendly service of Supply and Transport Requirements to troops and institutions by utilizing professional skills efficiently and effectively with available Army resources and economic value.

ROLE

The role of 7 SLASC is to provision of Supply and Transport req at HQ 1 Corps and affiliated Bns, 57 Inf Div, 65 Inf Div and 66 Inf Div and their UC tps as directed by Dte of S&T.

TASKS

Providing of uninterrupted supplies of Rat , provision of 2nd line transport and ancillary services to HQ 1 Corps and affiliated Bns, 57 Inf Div, 65 Inf Div and 66 Inf Div and their UC tps as directed by Dte of S&T.
