NEW CONSTRUCTIONS DECLARED OPEN BY THE COLONEL OF THE REGIMENT

Under the direct guidance of Director General General Staff Sri Lanka Army Headquarters, Commander 1 Corps and Colonel of the Regiment of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Major General Nishantha Manage, and under supervision and coordination of the Regimental Centre Commandant, the newly renovated Guard Room and Sergeants’ Mess accommodation building built according to modern standards was ceremonially declared open on 11 February 2023 at the Regimental Centre premises. The Centre Commandant, senior officers, staff officers and Other Ranks of VIR regimental centre participated for this event.
