ANOTHER DINERS’ CLUB SESSION WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED AT RHQ VIR

Under the guidance of Director General General Staff Sri Lanka Army Headquarters and Colonel of the Regiment Major General Nishantha Manage, and direct supervision of Regimental Centre Commandant Brigadier Prabath Kodithuwakku, another successful Diners’ Club session was successfully held at “The Salute” Multifunctional Hall on 01 July 2022 on par with the Officers’ Training Day for the third quarter 2022, while adhering all the health precautions and guidelines stipulated to prevent COVID-19 outbreak.

As the guest speaker of the night, Deputy General Manager (Marketing) Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Mr. Hasrath Munasinghe, conducted a timely important lecture on “Sustainable Practices, Pathways for a better tomorrow for the Nation”. Officers took the opportunity to share their views with the audience and clear their doubts with the guest speaker.

The Colonel of the Regiment of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Major General Nishantha Manage, and the Centre Commandant with regimental staff officers, senior officers and junior officers serving in various establishments including VIR Battalions also participated for these sessions.
