The Regimental Centre of The Vijayabahu Infantry Regimentorganized an awareness lecture onMilitary Wedding Procedures and Traditions to the bachelor officers of VIRon 06 June 2022 at regimental centre Officers’ Mess premises. The concept of the programme was to increase the awareness among the VIR officers regarding different customs and traditions connected with military weddings. The lecture was conducted by Regimental Adjutant MajHarindu Silva and Staff Officer II (Administration) Major MadhawaThanthri.
The programme was benefited and admired by participants due to its existing value for the day to day life. This notable event was organized by adhering all the health guidelines stipulated by the government to prevent COVID - 19 outbreak.
