Captain Chandana Ariyasinghe and Miss Dinushika Premathilaka tied nuptial knot at the “Salute” Multifunctional Hall Boyagane, Kurunegala on 21 October 2020. The glittering wedding was adorned with full military customs by adhering all the preventive measures for COVID-19 pandemic.
Captain R M G C B Ariyasinghe RSP joined the Sri Lanka Army on 16 January 2006 as an Officer Cadet of the Sri Lanka Military Academy Diyathalawa under Intake 63. He was commissioned on 22 December 2007 as a Second Lieutenant and posted to the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. He held responsible appointments as a Platoon Commander of 14th Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment as well as Adjutant and Company Commander of 23rd Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. At present, he is performing duties as the Adjutant of Headquarter Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. His delightful wife Dinushika Premathilaka was a proud product of Viharamahadevi Girls College in Badulla. At present she discharges duties as a Nursing Officer.
Brigadier Sisira Herath, the Centre Commandant of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment graced this remarkable event as the Chief Guest. Senior Officers, Officers and invitees of bride and bridegroom attended for the event.
