THE OFFICERS’ TRAINING DAY FOR 2019 FOURTH QUARTER WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

According to the direction given by the Commander of the Army and the supervision of the Colonel of the Regiment, The Officers’ Training Day for the fourth quarter of 2019 was successfully conducted with the participation of 171 officers belong to VIR at RHQ VIR on 24 December 2019.

According to the scheduled programme, all officers attended to the morning PT parade and then after attended to the Drill at Parade Ground.

After that, a lecture on “Stress Mamagement” was conducted by Mrs. M.K Oshadee Kaushalya De Silva, Department of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University at the Archers Cinema.

Another lecture on “Significance of Indian Ocean Region” was conducted by Lt Col A S Karunarathne RSP psc, Directing Staff,Officer Career Development Centre at the Archers Cinema after the lunch session.

Programme was concluded with the Diners’ Club session and Maj (Retd) Duminda Weeraratne MBA (Sri J), PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PMI-PBA, CEO Project Management Solutions (Pvt) Ltd conducted a lecture about “Risks Management” during the session.
