YEAR END OFFICERS TRAINING DAY CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY
Year end officer’s training day was concluded on 22 December 2017 at Regimental headquarters Boyagane Kurunegala. The programme was commenced by morning physical training and after Physical Training all officers ranks of Maj and below practiced the swords drill at the regimental parade ground, after the sword drill according to instructions given by Col of the Regt to enhance the regimentations within the battalions all officers attend to witness a Guard mounting Drill demonstration done by the regimental parade team. \r\nAfter the parade practices all officers gathered at the Archers Cinema auditorium and Colonel of the Regiment address the gathering. During his address Col Of the Regiment shows the value of this programme. According to the scheduled programme officers presented at a lecture done By Mrs Ama Dissanayaka under the topic of stress Management. Colonel of the Regiment highly appreciated the way she conducted the lecture. Next to the Stress management lecture done at the Archers Cinema Auditorium lunch was arranged at the Salute Reception Hall for all officers. After the lunch all officers came back to the lectures arranged at The Archers Cinema Auditorium. Lt Col SAB Dissanayake RWP RSP conducted the second lecture of the day on the subject of time management. \r\n14th Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment conducted an eye-catching and one of the most attractive group presentations ever done in an officers training day by a Battalion. King Vijayabahu was the topic given to them and Commanding officer and all officers of the Battalion have made and presented it in successfully. \r\nDiners Club held at the Salute Reception Hall. Mr Vijaya Dissanayake “Siwdesa” programme conductor of Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation conducted the diner’s club lecture on foreign policy of Sri Lanka. Year end Officers training day was concluded with 275 participations of officers. \r\n\r\n
