The Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment emerged as Champions of the Novices category of the Sri Lanka Army Inter Regiment Swimming Championship 2022 which concluded on 01 November 2022, held at Army Gymnasium, Panagoda. Chief of Staff, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Swimmers from various Army regiments tested their swimming skills and competed in the race for championship in the Inter Regiment Swimming Championship. The Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment swimming team under the supervision of 14th Battalion the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment was able to secure the 1st place under novices category by obtaining 161 points.
