Under the requests made by the Chief Monk of Katupathwewa Bodhirukkarama temple and Honourable Pahalahalmillewa Rathanasara Thero of Sri Sucharitha Dhamma School, essential stationary items and class room equipment required for the forthcoming school term were donated to 154 students by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment on 12 February 2023.
This event was conducted under the guidance of Director General General Staff Sri Lanka Army Headquarters and Colonel of the Regiment of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Major General Nishantha Manage and under supervision and coordination of the President of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch Madam Kumudu Manage. After the main event a tea party was organized which the children and their parents enjoyed and appreciated.
Senior officers including Director General General Staff Sri Lanka Army Headquarters and Colonel of the Regiment of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Major General Nishantha Manage, President of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch Madam Kumudu Manage and members, The Centre Commandant Brigadier Prabath Kodituwakku and senior officers participated for this event.
