The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the VIR Seva Vanitha Branch was held on 13 November 2022 under the patronage of Director General General Staff Sri Lanka Army Headquarters and Colonel of the Regiment of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Major General Nishantha Manage at The Salute Multifunctional Hall, Boyagane, Kurunegala. The AGM was presided by the Hon. President of the VIR Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Kumudu Manage and was attended by Seva Vanitha Branch Executive Committee and members.
The event commenced with the Seva Vanitha Anthem followed by a two-minute silence in a sincere moment of gratitude honored in memory of fallen war heroes who sacrificed their lives to defend the motherland. As a notable part of the event, valuable gift items including a wheelchair, a laptop computer and stationary items were donated to two needy children under the concept of Hon. President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Kumudu Manage. The AGM concluded with two timely and valuable lectures conducted by the reputed lecturer and scholar Mrs. Ama Dissanayake.
