Les Ceintures International Boxing Tournament - 2022 underwent from 12 May 2022 to 15 May 2022 at Paris, France. In that giving pride to the whole nation and Sri Lanka Army, S/211501 Lance Corporal Prasanna PAR of 24th Battalion the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment was titled as the Champion in weight class below 57 kg event.
Total 5 boxers were selected to represent Sri Lanka for the Commonwealth Games - 2022 and all of them are belong to Sri Lanka Army. This magnificent player is also among them and he is the only boxer who represented Sri Lanka in an International Boxing Tournament prior to the Commonwealth Games - 2022 by extending hopes for medals in the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
