VIJAYABAHU RIDERS BECAME CHAMPIONS IN SRI LANKA ARMY
Inter Regiment Motor Racing championship was held at Saliyapura racing circuit on 3rd March 2017. \r\nThis event was organized for the first time in Sri Lanka Army Sports history and Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment crowned the championship by gaining highest points among all other Regiments.\r\nCampion rider L/Cpl Sameera Pramarathne won 1st place in Super moto event and won second place for in 250 CC Racing. L/ Cpl Nihal Wijerathne won first place in Standard 125 CC and won 2nd place in 250 CC Race. L/ Cpl Milton Jothipalas and L/Cpl Thilakarathnes.P achievements helped to increase the point table. \r\nColonel of the Regiment Maj Gen A Kariyakarawane USP ndc congratulate the achievements gained by Vijayabahu riders and appreciated to all officers and staff who were behind this success.\r\n
