Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch ladies visited the inmates at “Abhimansala III - Pangolla, Kurunegala” one of the wellness resorts of the Sri Lanka Army on 05 September 2020.
They distributed specially designed toiletry pouches among all 35 inmates, including 4 Officers who are undergoing rehabilitation. During their stay at the wellness resort, they made inquiries into their difficulties, different aesthetic skills and capabilities.
Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch donated two electrical fans and sanitizing equipments for the utilization of wellness resort and then, they all actively contributed to an entertainment programme featured by “Ransara” beat group. Finally Seva Vanitha Branch provided a special lunch to the inmates before the session being wind up.
Mrs Avanthi Pilapitiya, Chairperson of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch and its members, Brigadier Sisira Herath, Centre Commandant of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Colonel Dhananjaya Aludeniya, Deputy Centre Commandant of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and several officers were among the participants.
