Vijayabahu boxers won the championship of the inter Regiment boxing. This achievement was gained to the Regiment for the first time in its prestigious and proud history.
The meet was held at Panagoda Army Cantonment boxing ring on 10th March 2017. Maj Gen MHS Boniface Perea RWP RSP USP ndu psc grace the event as the chief guest.
Strong Vijayabahu boxers fought against all Other regiments but non of them could able to defeat the strength of wining spirit.
Vijayabahu Boxers won 4 gold medals 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
Centre commdant Brig WS Ariyasinghe RSP and Commanding Officer Colonel Ranawaka 24th Battalion Vijayabahu infantry Regiment and many Senior officers gathered to witness the sucsuss of Vijayabahu Boxers.
