SEVA VANITHA UNIT DONATES STATIONARY ITEMS FOR 143 STUDENTS
Ceremony of Stationary items donation was held at the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Center at “Archers†Cinema on Saturday (06th January) organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
The event was graced by the organizer of the event Seva Vanitha Branch Chairperson Mrs. Anuja Kariyakarawana. The event was graced by Chief Guest Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and the Commander Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi Major General Ajith Kariyakara.
A total of 143 children of Vijayabahu War Heroes have been received donations on this ceremony. Chairmen of the Boiler Machine Insolation Service, Rajagiriya, Mr Nihal Dharmasiri had been sponsored for 100 school children. Mrs. Malapherra and Mrs Chandra Yatigammana who lives in United Kingdom also had been provided sponsorship for stationeries for 43 students. Sri Lanka Telecom\'s General Manager- Marketing Promotions Mr Upali Jayakodi and Lieutenant Colonel BDR Bhudhagoda and his beloved spouse have been given the support by the coordinating the event until its success.
Senior members of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Senior Officers Brigadier Srinath Ariyasinghe, senior officers and a large number of officials participated in this event.
