As per the direction given by the Colonel of the Regiment of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment began a PCS Refresher course on 17 May 2016 at RHQ VIR for the officers who eligible to face for the staff college entrance examination 2016. The valuable Opening address done by Col SUMN Mannage RWP RSP PSC and he shows the importance of the qualifying PSC as an officer. All officers who are following the course received a pack of stationary items for each. Centre Commandant Brigadier WS Ariyasinghe RSP handed over those stationary item packs among officers. \r\nTo study in free minded and pay more attention on studies all officers who are undergoing this course taken out from the relevant battalions and accommodated at RHQ VIR. They are well facilitated with good accommodation and separate class room as well. First time of the history Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment arranged this Refresher course in a structured way. This Course will be important one for enhance the knowledge of VIR officers and face PCS entrance in good confidence. \r\n
