As per instructions given by the Commander of the Army to launch an Officers’ Training Day quarterly, Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) held Officers’ Training Day on 30 September at the Regimental Headquarters (RHQ) Boyagane KURUNEGALA , under the supervision of Major General NAJC Dias WWV RWP RSP USP ndc Chief of staff of Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the regiment. Lieutenant Colonel EEAG Welimanna psc Lieutenant colonel WSN Hemarathne RSP psc , Regimental Adjutant Major HDC Silva RWP RSP psc conducted individual lectures and a group presentation done by Maj HDC Silva psc , Maj HGSKP Bandara RSP , Maj HGS Gallage , Maj HAAG Sathkumara RSP , Capt RWDB RathnindaRSP , Capt MRRC Madurapperuma and Lt AMMMM Alagiyawanna.
Dinners club was held in the regimental multi functional hall (THE SALUTE) Maj Gen (Retd) SD Thennakoon RWP VSV ndc was grace function as the chief guest and conducted a valuable lecture.
