The newly-constructed Welfare Bakery of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment
The newly-constructed Welfare Bakery of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) was opened on Monday (10) at the VIR Regimental Headquarters, Boyagane.
Mrs. Nayana De Silva, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit declared opened the bakery at the invitation of Mrs Sharanki Dias, Chairperson, VIR Seva Vanitha Unit.
This bakery project was one of the few welfare projects, initiated by the VIR Seva Vanitha Unit under the directions of Mrs Sharanki Dias.
With the opening of the bakery, VIR war heroes can now purchased quality bakery items at a affordable price.
