NEWLY COMMISSIONED AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE CEREMONIALLY HAND OVER TO THE VIR TROOPS

A newly commissioned Automated Teller Machine of People’s Bank was ceremonially declared open for use for the troops of VIR regimental centre by the Director General General Staff Sri Lanka Army Headquarters and Colonel of the regiment of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Major General Nishantha Manage at the Regimental Centre premises on 19 August 2022. This will immensely save time and effort and exceedingly benefit not only for the soldiers in the camp but also for civilians living suburb to the camp premises to carry out their regular financial transactions with ease and comfort. Officials of People’s Bank including the General Manager of People’s Bank Kurunegala branch, the Centre Commandant, senior officers and Other Ranks of VIR regimental centre participated for this event. This notable event was organized by adhering all the health guidelines stipulated by the government to prevent COVID - 19 outbreak.
