Madam Himali Pussella, the new President of the VIR Seva Vanitha Branch assumed office during a brief ceremony held at President’s Office of Seva Vanitha Branch at Vijayabahu Infantry Regimental Centre, Boyagane, Kurunegala on 23 August 2023.
On arrival, Madam Himali Pussella was received by Madam Chrishi Gunathilake, Hon. Secretary, VIR Seva Vanitha Branch. Later on, amidst religious observances, Madam Himali Pussella placed her signature in an official document signifying the acceptance of the office.
Simultaneously, adding more value to the event, Madam Himali Pussella donated monetary funds to three selected families of VIR who were much in need of financial assistance.
After a while, the new President of VIR Seva Vanitha Branch made a visit to the ongoing projects functioning under the VIR Seva Vanitha Branch. Gathering of VIR Seva Vanitha members were present at the occasion.
